Swallow Falls

We are perfectly situated to take in the stunning views of the Swallow Falls. This waterfall on the Afon Llugwy has become a familiar natural celebrity over the past 100 years and has featured on film, postcard and canvas. While its principal viewpoints are situated on the south bank of the Llugwy with the convenience of ample parking along the A5 and within the hotel car park, it is observed far more dramatically if approached on foot along the northern bank.

Electric Mountain

If you’re looking for a truly electrifying day out, why not visit the Electric Mountain Visitors Centre on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in Llanberis. You’ll discover the amazing powers of pumped storage hydro-electricity in a totally entertaining and educational environment. Admission to the centre is free and there is heaps to interest visitors of all age groups.

Portmeirion Village

Portmeirion is an Italian style village built in 1925 on the coast of Snowdonia in Wales.
All the cottages in the village are let as part of the Portmeirion Hotel and the village also has several shops and restaurants and is surrounded by the Gwyllt sub-tropical gardens and woodlands and miles of sandy beaches.
Portmeirion is open all year round for both staying guests and day visitors alike.
